This policy explains how Cedarwell (Cedarwell Ltd, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you interact with us in person, online, by phone or via the pharmacy app.

Who we are

Cedarwell is an independent community pharmacy based at 14 Linden Parade, Orpington, Kent BR6 0AB. We are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (premises 1234567). Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Aisha Bello (GPhC 2098765).

Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Identity details (name, date of birth, address, contact details).
  • NHS number and clinical information necessary for safe dispensing.
  • Booking and appointment details for private services.
  • Payment information for private services (processed by a regulated payment provider, we never store card numbers).
  • Limited technical data when you visit our website (browser type, pages visited) for security and improvement.

How we use your information

  • To dispense prescriptions safely and meet our NHS obligations.
  • To provide private services you've booked with us.
  • To send appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory duties.
  • To improve our service, only ever with information that does not identify you.

We rely on a mix of legal bases under UK GDPR, including the provision of healthcare, our public task under the NHS, contractual necessity, our legitimate interests and (where required) your consent.

How long we keep records

We keep pharmacy and clinical records in line with NHS retention schedules. Other records are kept only for as long as we need them.
